Happy New Year! 2014 has finally arrived, and I am soo happy about this. There are many things I am looking forward to this year and I am excited for this new chapter in my life to begin. I've got my pen ready and am anxious to fill the blank pages with my own stories, lessons learned, and unforgettable memories.
This past year came with several difficult challenges but as I look back I am so grateful for the lessons I learned. Although I did experience hard things, each trial made me stronger and helped me to grow closer to my loving Father in Heaven.
My Top Ten Lessons Learned in 2013
1- You never know how long someone will be in your life. Love everyone. We could all use a friend.
2-Family is everything, and family is forever.
3-Friends influence you in so many ways. Pick GOOD ones..they'll be a great support.
4-True Happiness is only found in and through The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
5-Love a lot! Laugh a lot!
6-Distance doesn't matter because love conquers all.
7-Trials make us STRONGER.
8-I've got the rest of my life to grow up, so I don't need to waste time doing that now.
9-Sometimes you've got to respect yourself and forget your feelings.
10-SMILE always! SMILE BIG!
I hope I can remember these lessons I learned as I go through this New Year. Here's to a year ahead full of Heaven, Hope, and Happiness!
